В представленном обзоре приведены литературные данные о причинах, клинических проявлениях, дифференциальной диагностике и методах лечения синдрома токсического поражения переднего отрезка глаза (TASS) – одного из осложнений глазной хирургии. Несмотря на редкую встречаемость, в тяжелых случаях синдром приводит к значительному и стойкому снижению зрения. Предложенные Американским обществом катарактальных и рефракционных хирургов рекомендации по профилактике синдрома позволяют избежать его возникновения.
